[Gift art] Tsurugi meets Yuriko

An extra artwork to end the week. Featuring Yuriko, one of rare Tsuru (Japanese Red crowned crane) Anthro, at least at DA.

The idea of this artwork was to show a bit more about my characters, specially Tsurugi, whom is always at background at my artworks.

Tsurugi is the Algren's team strategists. He is cool headed and pays a lot of attention at the surroundings to make the best decision available. He fights with a Naginata, a pole bladed weapon once he is always at the groups back analyzing the flow òf the combat.

Only thing that can break his concentration is... woman, specially of same species of him.

In this drawing, Yuriko is just asking directions, Tsurugi stutters, and sweats alot soon he see her. Somehow at end he manages to talk after some effort.

Later she tell him she asked first to a Peregrine falcon, a funny panache hawk, a big grey Eagle and a crow that squabble a lot with a bald eagle wearing a identical kimono of him, but they told her to "look for a Tsuru tengu wearing similar kimono of him".


Of course, his friends know about his weakness and will take every opportunity to make a shamefull prank with him...
